My two friends and I were given a most interesting tour by our guide, Julie. As we were her only visitors – it was a quiet day – we were able to linger over photographs and other features of the house that aroused our curiosity. With her passion for history, Julie answered our questions knowledgeably and with enthusiasm. I had visited Hurtubise House once before, but for my friends it was a first experience, and we all enjoyed it very much.

Fascinating!  So cool to be able to peak in people's past lives and almost feel them! Tour guide really nice! well informed and interested . Situated in a very nice part of town this beautiful ancestral home is worth a visit!

Overall, the visit was very interesting and well organized. We had the opportunity to see the house, the garden and the barn. The guide has a lot of knowledge, not only about the history of the house and the family, but they also know a lot of details about the lifestyle in Quebec at that time. I liked it that the visit was also interactive, we could ask questions and comment on many subjects related to the place.
